birthdays

at what age do you stop getting money from your parents for your birthday? i mean it comes to a point where the money is just something to give someone other than a card. i ask this cause i think i am past the age of getting money for my birthday. i like to get it, in the case of yesterday i got money from my mom and grandma, but not my dad. both ways, totally acceptable in my book, the money from them helped out very much, but i can survive without it. let me know what you think.

2 part blog

1> well i think i saved my bosses life yesterday... we were talking about something just after a meeting, and he was making no sense at all, so i thought he was just tired. so i asked if this was the case and i got an odd answer. so i left, which was not easy because of how odd he was being, and found the plant manager to tell him the situation. now i did this because my boss has diabetes, and i think he was having an insulin thing, not to sure how it works, but i'm gonna think i saved his life

2> i lost my cell phone yesterday, my backpack magically opened as i was riding my motorcycle home from work and it fell out. my check book, camera, and charger for my laptop all stayed in though. very odd. so i went to sprint and asked for a new phone. thier response "i can't help you, if you have insurance you need to call this number and wait for a new phone" to which i responded "i can't wait for a new phone i need one now" to only get "well you can buy a new one for 150 bucks". well after a lot of this type bullshit, i called sprint from the store, and chewed them out untill i got a 150 dollar credit to my account, got a new phone, and i was happy. thankfully the lady who helped me to get the phone after i got the credit was the manager to the store, and i was able to complain to her about the rudeness of the people. this is not over, i a going to e-mail that store, and sprint to let them know the treatment i got, and on my birthday!!! oh well, my birthday was fun otherwise, although that put in a mood, kate got me some cool shirts that she made, and took me out to dinner. i appreciate it all very much katie bug.

1> so the other day, a bird was stuck in my garage. he got in, and was frantically trying to escape through a window in the back. i figured something needed to be done, so i tried to open the window that has never been opened before. he stopped freaking out though when i was trying to open it as if he knew i was trying to help. after i figured the window wouldn't work, i knew i had to get the bird out myself. i walked over to the edge of my garage where the shovel lay, grabbed it and started smashing the bird to bits... just kidding, i went and got my motocycle gloves, caught the bird after some talking and calming down, and released him to the wild. it was pretty cool.

2> i would like to thank buddha for recomending the new black eyed peas album, i dl it last night and listened to it on the way to work. very good, definatly recomend it if you like that type of music. also it's named monkey business so i think i feel a spiritual connection to it, look at my monkey blog

3> last night me, kate, my roomate and her friend cody all watched white noise. Pretty scary, kind of cheasy acting, but good enough to scare you a bit if you are easily done so. well a pinnacle time used in the movie was 2:30 am. a lot of scary things happened at that time and they made a big point of it. well last night sleeping, i was having a horrible nightmare about killing someone at work, by stabbing them repeatedly with a knife. well sure enough kate bumped me right at the time he was comming to kill me just before he died, and i couldn't get out the door, and i woke up screaming at guess what time... 2:30 am. yeah it was freaky, much more for kate who demanded an explaination later that morning as she figured out it happened at 2:30 am. funny shit.
