cold as a witches...

it was 30 degrees fahrenheit this morning, and i have recently got some heated gloves and wanted to see how they hold up in arctic weather so i rode my motorcycle to work like i normally do to see how i could handle it.

i have been riding my bike everyday to work still as it has been in the 40's on my way to work, which isn't so bad with full protection, most importantly heated gloves. today was a different story... when you are driving 80+ mph and the weather is 30, i don't want to figure out how cold i should have been.

on a little side note, i did not ride my bike to work yesterday, as i had to go to court for a speeding ticket (that i got on my bike) however, i am still coming out saving money over driving my jeep including tickets. i have almost 10,000 miles on my bike, most of them commuting miles (all in 6 months mind you) and at saving an average of $10 a day in gas, and after some other calculations i figured i have saved $860 by riding my bike. boo ya.

anyways, riding my bike today was not that cold because of all the protection, so i think i can go a bit colder, i will let you know when i reach my "freezing point".

blogging is fun

so i found out this weekend that i have people reading my blog that i didn't know were. this is a good thing because it is fun knowing someone i don't know is reading about my life. i would like to say hi to you all and encourage you to comment and let me know you have checked out my blog. also, i am going to watch my language a little more, now knowing there could be younger eyes reading this.

weekend.

friday went to see "saw2" and "jarhead" and ended up with mixed reviews about the movie. saw was good, but of course a sequal can never top the first one, except for the rocky movies and godfather of course. in jarhead, i though i was going to see an action packed movie about the war in iraq, and found out it is completly the opposite. it did however, show how stupid the marines presence in iraq was. basically they did nothing, went crazy, and lost wives or girlfriends. this is not what you see in the news so it is nice to get the truth, no matter how boring it is.

saturday, kellie went to see her sister and i went down to atlanta to show them how it's done. it was billy's birthday celebration and things went as usual when i was driving home at 7:30 am from being up all night partying. i have slept about 4 hours all weekend at this point. i will try to get some pictures from the night and post them later.

sunday (after 7:30am) i got home slept for a few and headed out to see chrissy and drew work on the house and eat some lunch. it's sad to see them go, but i can tell they are much happier in north carolina. i will be stopping by their new place come december on my way to driving up to n.y... after my visit to chrissy and drew's, i went for a motorcycle ride with by, and then went to best buy and bought a new i-pod nano. i lost my shuffle, and figured i was due for an upgrade so i did. i am now very tired, and if some of this doesn't make sence, then i apologise. ok goodnight. spell check isn't working, i give up.
