Mexicana Policia

Ok, so for some reason, I am the mule for Mexico. To get things shipped here it takes about 5 days so we have things shipped to a border town in Arizona, and I drive there to go pick it up and smuggle it back. I have yet to be stopped at the border though (knock on wood), and I get some time off of work, and I get to drive through the Sonaran desert which is beautiful. So, today I had to actually go to Tucson to renew my Mexican insurance on my rental, which they can't do over the phone for some stupid reason, and to go pick up an oscilloscope that was in Bisbee, AZ. On my way back trough the back roads of Mexico, oh wait, they are all back roads... anyways, I am driving about 80 mph because as I was told there is really no law here. In the slight chance you get pulled over you hide a 20 behind your drivers license and hope he takes it and lets you go. Well cruising down the road, the other direction, over this hill I see a pickup flash his top lights and head lights and point at me ( I think, I was moving pretty fast). Well sure as shit, he pulls a U turn on this tiny road and gets right on my ass. I am now freaking cause I just got done smuggling stuff across the border and I don't know Spanish, but I do have a 20 behind my license in case of such a situation. So there is no where to pull over, and I think he is signaling to pull over a little further down the road. A dirt pull over come up and he flashes his lights as to pull over there. I do so, take my keys and put them on the dash, put on my seatbelt, and both hands on the wheel. Well this guy comes up yelling at me in Mexican something, and all I picked up was "speed limit". So I says, "uhhh, I am guessing you are asking me if I know the speed limit". He pulls his glasses down in the cliché way a cop would do, looks at me and says "Jes!". This is yes in Mexico by the way. He then continues to say "Why jew you come to my country and disrespect my laws?" I said "I didn't mean to" and he says "What I have to do now is impound jour car and bring jew to jail. Jew then have to go to the bank and get money to get jour car out and pay jour ticket." Well, now I was really shitting my pants. After a little more, language problems and discussion he says "Well, I don't feel like doing all that so I am going to let you go"!!! I was even trying to bribe him and he wasn't going for it! Oh, I love the laziness of the Mexicans. Didn't feel like doing all that work, so he let me go. Well add Mexico to my list of places I have been pulled over in!
