life

this is not going to be an exciting blog. it's mainly to catch up the people who care about what goes on in my life. if you do not, then skip to the end for a funny story

sorry it has been so long since i updated... i have been insane busy at work, and life equally as busy. let's see, what is new? well i got max neutered, i bet he isn't too happy about that, but he has been more relaxed so everyone is happy. one day last week though, he got so excited that he slipped on the stairs (possibly due to his weak hind quarters since the surgery) and tore off one of his nails. it was bleeding everywhere before i saw what happened, and kellie eventually tore it all the way off. it is a lot better now. oh and my iguana died due to a faulty heater, he was 8 years old and lived with heather in atlanta. he is now burried in my back yard.

what else? oh, i had a mini superbowl party (first party at my place i think) with my neighbors, and my new friends todd and kara, which i am happy to finaly have friends in the area.

oh oh, i got to ride a CBR 1000 (motorcycle) that i rode a wheelie down the highway at 80mph. that was awsome.

besides all that excitement, ummmm, well i got curtains in my house, and am in the process of painting (one room at a time).

funny story:
this lady at work (remember i work in back woods GA) is not very up to date with technology, to put it nicely. If you have seen deliverance, her family is pretty much like the people sitting on the porch missing teeth planing banjos. To paint the picture even more, they have not been to atlanta since like the 1950's. ok, so she got a new tv due to the fact the old one was probably still black and white. well she was unhappy with the new tv because it only went to channel 9. i sat there and thought for a while why her tv would act so odd, and told her to take the remote control (which sits on top of the tv, not by the couch) and press the number 1, followed directly by another 1. well she was excited to learn that her tv goes beyond the 0 - 9. the things we take for granted.

ok, PLEASE PLEASE comment on this. especially if i have not talked to you in a very long time, and have no way of getting in touch with you, i would love to hear from everyone who reads this. please. v
