here we go

Ok, this is a quick wrap up of what has happened in the past few weeks. Pictures will follow, however they were taken on a normal camera so development, and scanning needs to happen. this brings me to a funny situation i want to mention real quick though. someone this past weekend was taking pictures for kellie with her film type camera during our second annual kickball game. she was a little younger i think, and i don't belive has ever seen a film type camera. i was standing right next to her when she took her first picture, and then looked at the camera confused, trying to figure out what the sound was, and where you could see the picture you just took. I laughed (to myself, i didn't want to show weakness in such an important game) realizing how digital cameras have taken over and 35mm is a thing of the past, so much so that someone didn't understand how a 35mm camera works. and i digress.

the weekend before christmas, i flew to indiana to buy a car. drove it 10 hours back to ga, and i am currently trying to sell my jeep. so now i have a bmw 325i (the car i always wanted), a jeep, and two motorcycles. somethings got to give.

thursday, kellie and i drove to north carolina to see drew and chrissy, and stay the night to break up the drive to ny. that was very fun, and it was good to the the hoffman clan, as always.

friday got to ny after washing d.c. traffic and about 10 more hours or driving.

saturday went to my home town to see the house i grew up in, saw the serottas and stopped my chris g's house to say hi. went back home and did christmas with the family before church.

sunday went to jersey to see my father and that side of the family to do christmas day stuff. also, picked up my tickets to nyc stuff that my uncle got for me and kellie, which i will talk about in a second.

monday took my mom, sister, and kellie to lunch and a movie, where we ended up seeing fun with dick and jane (narnia had 3 seats left, 3 f'ing seats!!!). drove to the city at night to stay at chris s's.

tue in the city woke up at 8 to move my car due to street cleaning laws, and moved it back when they were done. the took the subway to the staute of liberty. now, my uncle has some great connections in the city because when we got there, we went right to the front of every line due to the fact we knew the right names to say. we did the statue of liberty and ellis island in about 2 hours (for those of you that have made this trip, you know that it takes a day to accomplish this). then we went to get some of the best pizza in nyc, and then rockefeller center. met up with chris (he works right there) for some coffee, then took the subway to the empire state building. once again, my ucle gave us an executive pass, so we went to the front of every line, and went through special doors to get ahead of everyone. i felt like i was famous the entire day. next, we walked to broadway, because my uncle got us tickets to beauty and the beast. it was actually very cool, and a perfect finish to the night.

whew, almost done...

wednesday we drove back to georgia which was abotu 15 hours, and wasn't too bad because kellie helped drive a bit. she cannot drive stick, so i put the car in cruise and swapped seats. worked well actually.

new years i partied at la france, stayed at kellie and bill's (thank you) and played (and made the only home run) in the second annual new years day kick ball game.

ok that is good for now, if you got this far, thank you for taking the time to be interested in my life. please comment, weather positive or negative. pictures are coming soon
