nyc (with pictures)

ok, a lot to cover about this ny trip, and i am extremely tired right now, so i will tell you in sections. i am tired because my flight out of shit hole of the world newark's airport had some bad weather and my flight was delayed. for an hour and a half. so i didn't get in untill midnight, where kelly had to drag herself out and pick us up so late, and i feel soooo bad, and thank you again very much. so i stayed in atl, and got up at five thirty to drive home, shower, and come to work. about three and a half hrs of sleep... nooo problem.
enough bitching, got to nyc sat morning, and the fun began. in two days kate and i took every possible mode of transportation. we took the plane to newark, the train to penn station, the taxi to get where we were staying, subways after walking from eighty third street to about thirty fourth street via central park, and a bus on sunday to get back north where my mom picked us up. that is a lot of modes, i'll tell ya what. so sat at about noon we hit the city, starting with some good ny pizza, then walking south through central park watching some cool street acts along the way. next we went to the empire state building and waited on line for about two hours to get to the top (later my uncle told me he had vip passes to that and to the statue of liberty, but thats what i get for being a poor planner). so we got the top and took some great pictures, walked around a bit, and made our way back down. this was the first major tourist thing we did, and boy there were many to follow...
